New York, NY – September 29, 2015— ALM’s Retirement Advisor magazine announced that Jeff Bucher, president of Citizen Advisory Group, has been named the 2016 Advisor of the Year. Referred to as the industry’s most prestigious award, the Advisor of the Year recognizes the top advisor who is successful, trustworthy, committed, ethical, community-focused, and most importantly, a super producer.

In 2006, Jeff convinced his brother Kevin to quit his high school teaching position and start Citizen Advisory Group. They quickly became a full service firm handling what they call the six checkpoints of retirement (income, investments, tax planning, health care, long-term care and legacy planning). In 2015, Citizen Advisory Group earned total sales close to $32 million.
