Legal Week Hosts Transatlantic General Counsel Summit & Transatlantic Legal Awards
Transatlantic General Counsel Summit coming to London, BCLP, Eversheds, Kirkland and Skadden line up for top prize at the Transatlantic Legal Awards 2018
London, UK, – May 17, 2018 – The Transatlantic General Counsel Summit & the Transatlantic Legal Awards 2018 are coming to London on Thursday 14 of June at the Royal Lancaster, W2.
The Transatlantic General Counsel Summit will happen the afternoon of 14 June to provide a platform for some of the most elite general counsel in the UK, Europe & the USA. This exclusive gathering is open to General Counsels within Europe and Northern America.
Speakers include Peter Beshar of Marsh & McLennan Companies, Philip Bramwell of BAE Systems, Michael Solender of EY and Clare Wardle of Coca-Cola European Partners. The speakers will share the approaches they adopt to ensure they can continue to meet future challenges whilst taking an in-depth look at the evolving risk landscape on both sides of the Atlantic.
The 4th annual Transatlantic Legal Awards will happen on the evening of the 14th.
There are 11 practice awards, including M&A Team of the Year (Large and Mid-market), Private Equity Team of the Year, Finance Team of the Year while individual achievement will be recognised in the Dealmaker of the Year, Disputes Lawyer of the Year and General Counsel of the Year categories.
The ceremony will culminate with three flagship awards: Transatlantic Law Firm Leader of the Year, Transatlantic, Independent Law Firm of the Year and Transatlantic Law Firm of the Year.
The shortlist for all categories have been announced with top firms such as Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom, Paul Hastings, Sullivan & Cromwell & Morgan Lewis Bockius being nominated for multiple categories.
