Lawmakers, Regulators and Political All-Stars to Address 2013 Regulatory Climate at Washington Conference
Former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer, Former Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert, Former U.S. Senators Trent Lott and John Breaux to speak at The National Law Journal Regulatory Summit in Washington, D.C. on December 6th
NEW YORK – November 19, 2012 – The National Law Journal and Legal Times will showcase the sharpest minds shaping today’s regulatory law in a highly anticipated day-long event featuring top federal regulators, legislators, law firms, lobbyists and lawyers discussing timely issues for both law firm attorneys and in-house counsel.
Eliot Spitzer, the former governor of New York, will headline a star-studded list of speakers at the 2012 NLJ Regulatory Summit: What Every In-House Counsel Should Know, scheduled for December 6, 2012, at the Marriott Wardman Park in Washington, D.C.
Spitzer will deliver the keynote address in the final session of the day at 4 p.m. Additional confirmed speakers for the conference include Former Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert (R-Ill.), Former House Democratic Leader Richard A. Gephardt (D-MO) Former U.S. Sen. Trent Lott (R-Miss.), Former U.S. Sen. John Breaux (D-La.), Former Congressman Earl Pomeroy (D-ND), SEC Commissioner Elisse B. Walter, and the managing partners of several of D.C.’s most prominent law firms.
The event is being presented by ALM’s The National Law Journal and Legal Times newspaper. Most of the educational sessions are CLE accredited so attendees can earn up to 5 CLE credits.
