Jeffrey Litvack Joins ALM as Senior Vice President of Digital Media SAVE PAGE AS PDFSAVE PAGE AS PDF

NEW YORK – September 18, 2012 – ALM, a leading provider of news and business information to the legal and real estate industries, today announced that Jeffrey S. Litvack has been named senior vice president of digital media.

 

In this newly created position, Litvack will oversee the development of ALM’s corporate strategy for its digital products and will be in charge of executing against that strategy with ALM’s national digital media team. In addition to overseeing law.com, he will be responsible for ALM’s mobile efforts, ensuring best practices are deployed across the company’s newspaper and magazine Web sites, enhancing ALM’s online B2B publishing platform, and identifying new opportunities for delivering the company’s online assets to its customers.

 

Litvack has more than 20 years of media experience with both direct-to-consumer and business-to-business companies. Prior to joining ALM, he was the chief operating officer and general manager of iCircular, a next-generation mobile advertising platform for preprints, at the Associated Press (AP), and served in the past as the AP’s general manager of global product development, general manager of mobile and emerging products, and global director of new media markets. In these roles, Jeff oversaw the launch of a number of ground-breaking digital businesses including the award-winning AP Mobile, 2010 AP World Cup app, AP News for the iPad and SmartTV apps. Litvack’s previous positions included principal at SSI Advisors, a digital media consulting firm he founded, executive director of digital media at The Museum of Television & Radio, senior vice president of business development at Yack, Inc., and senior engagement manager in the media practice of Mitchell Madison Group.

 

Litvack earned a law degree from Harvard Law School and his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business. He is a frequent speaker at digital media conferences and is the author of several published articles in leading technology magazines.
