Four ALM Leaders Recognized on 2nd Annual Top Women in Media List
Ceremony in New York celebrates accomplishments of outstanding women in the media industry
ALM’s Chief Content Officer and Chief Marketing Officer Molly Miller is included in the Corporate Visionary category, while Senior Director of Digital Products Anne Jackley, Senior Director, Project Management Office Nicole Woods and Publisher/Editor-in-Chief of Credit Union Times Sarah Cooke are named among the Director-Level Doers. The women will be honored at an awards luncheon on June 8, at the Grand Hyatt in New York City.

Since joining ALM in 2012, Molly Miller has steered the company toward new opportunities including her active role in the acquisition of Summit Professional Networks late last year. As a result of the acquisition, the company advanced into several new industries, expanded audience reach by nearly three million professionals and increased annual revenues by about 35 percent. Prior to her CCO and CMO role at ALM, Miller demonstrated her ability to drive growth as Vice President and Publisher of The Recorder and, shortly thereafter, Law.com.
Anne Jackley drives digital product evolution at ALM, focusing on developing adaptive, data-driven products to improve engagement and accelerate audience growth. She was instrumental in implementing ALM’s new approach to the customer digital experience which has resulted in higher audience engagement and rising digital ad sales and sponsorships. Under her leadership, ALM re-launched 15 legal websites, more than 70 newsletters and 15 apps all on mobile-friendly platforms.
Nicole Woods was tasked with creating a centralized project management office (PMO) to accelerate ALM’s digital transformation in 2013. Over the months that followed she inspired the PMO team to deliver more than 70 projects in 2013 and an additional 65+ strategic and operational projects in 2014. Her involvement and oversight of these projects allowed ALM to adapt quickly over the past two years and successfully transform into a digital first publisher.
After serving as Credit Union Times Washington reporter for several years, Sarah Cooke was promoted to editor-in-chief in 2008 and publisher/editor in August 2012. In each of these last two roles, she has taken the lead in managing the shift from print to digital and new product creation. She has not only grown overall revenue for two straight years, but also in 2014 managed to increase print market share, while growing digital, custom and lead generation.
