Consulting Magazine Announces its Excellence in Social & Community Investment Awards Winners
Fifteen firms to be honored at gala awards dinner on September 10
NEW YORK, Aug. 10, 2015 — ALM’s Consulting magazine is proud to unveil its second annual Excellence in Social & Community Investment awards winners. The Excellence in Social & Community Investment awards recognizes firms for outstanding client service on a pro bono, discounted or volunteer basis in either local communities or globally.
The fifteen winning firms, along with the clients they served, will be recognized at a gala awards dinner to be held at Le Parker Meridien in New York on Thursday, September 10.
“We often recognize consulting firms that are doing well and now we want to recognize those firms that are doing good,” says Joseph Kornik, publisher and editor-in-chief of Consulting Magazine. “Although it’s not widely publicized, the consulting profession does a tremendous amount of pro bono, discounted and volunteer work to make the world a better place. We’re honored to shine a spotlight on these firms’ altruistic efforts with the Excellence in Social & Community Investment awards.”
This year’s award-winning firms are: A.T. Kearney, Bain & Company, The Boston Consulting Group, Deloitte Consulting, Huron Consulting Group, IBB Consulting Group, Jabian Consulting, KPMG, McGladrey, North Highland, Protiviti, PwC, Sapient, Slalom Consulting and West Monroe Partners.
The winning firms advised various clients including foundations, not-for-profits and community-based organizations, which exist for a higher cause. These clients include: Alexander Youth Network, CommunityHealth, Developments in Literacy Endeavor, Feeding America, Girl Scouts Hornets’ Nest Council, Junior Achievement USA, International Rescue Committee, My Brother’s Keeper Alliance, No Greater Sacrifice, Ronald McDonald House Charities, Test Positive Awareness Network and The United Nations.
