ALM’s National Underwriter Publications Rebrand
ALM’s property and casualty insurance market brands will include the NU name
New York, NY – July 9, 2019 — ALM’s National Underwriter (NU) has undergone a rebrand in order to provide a more consistent and interconnected experience for property and casualty (P&C) insurance professionals who utilize the trusted and proven suite of NU resources. As a result of this initiative, PropertyCasualty360 has become NU PropertyCasualty360, National Underwriter Property & Casualty magazine has become NU Property & Casualty, and Claims Magazine has become NU Claims magazine.
NU provides all insurance industry professionals, including brokers, agents, carrier executives and claims professionals, with comprehensive coverage of the products, practices, and strategies necessary to guide their clients through all facets of the insurance and risk management process.
Insurance professionals work in a fast-paced, complex environment and need quick access to crucial information in order to navigate an increasingly competitive and dynamic industry. The rebrand will offer more streamlined access to the trusted information and resources insurance professionals depend on to help them succeed. By organizing all of ALM’s products under the NU brand, our audiences can be confident that they’re getting the quality and expertise they have come to expect from the NU brand.
“As the P&C insurance industry changes at a rapid rate, our customers need to immediately recognize what sources they can trust,” said Annie Cavlov, Vice President, General Manager of ALM’s Regulated Markets. “ALM has unified our insurance brands under the ‘NU’ name to bridge the years of expertise ALM has always offered and will continue to provide.”
National Underwriter has been a leader in providing P&C news, information and analysis for more than 85 years. The rebrand will foster the same specialized content from ALM’s editors and industry experts but simplify for readers by integrating under one umbrella.
“I’m pleased with the opportunity to better align ALM’s extensive insurance resources under one brand,” said Rosalie Donlon, Editor in Chief, National Underwriter Property & Casualty magazine and PropertyCasualty360.com. “We’re still the same National Underwriter content that insurance professionals trust with an updated name.”
