ALM’s Consulting magazine Announces its 2017 Excellence in Social & Community Investment Award Winners
Eighteen firms to be honored at gala awards dinner on September 14 in New York
NEW YORK, NY – August 10, 2017 – Consulting magazine is proud to unveil its fourth annual Excellence in Social & Community Investment Award winners. The Social & Community Investment Award recognizes firms for outstanding client service on a pro bono, significantly discounted or volunteer basis in either the organization’s local communities or globally.

“The consulting profession does a lot of pro bono work,” said Joseph Kornik, Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of Consulting magazine. “We recognize their efforts to make the planet a much better place. We love shining a spotlight on these firms’ altruistic efforts each year with this award.”
This year’s award-winning firms are, in alphabetical order: Alix Partners, Apparo, A.T. Kearney, The Boston Consulting Group, CapTech, Daugherty Business Solutions, EY, IBB Consulting, Impact Advisors, Impact Makers, Jabian, Knowledgent, North Highland, L.E.K. Consulting, Prominence Advisors, Propeller, Protiviti and Rabin Martin.
Winning firms advised various clients, including foundations, not-for-profits and community-based organizations including: UNICEF, The Global Health Coalition, The Boys and Girls Clubs of America, The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkison’s Research, The Center for Prevention Services, The Florida Hospital for Children, Habitat for Humanity of Charlotte and the School Justice Project, among others.
Consulting magazine will cover the Social & Community Investment awards, including features of the winning firms and the gala dinner, in the October issue, which will be available on Friday, October 6.
