ALM Appoints Jacelyn Johnson as Editor-in-Chief of China Law & Practice

Former Product Manager at LexisNexis Joins ALM’s Editorial Team

New York, NY – August 6, 2018 — ALM Media announced today that Jacelyn Johnson has joined as Editor-in-Chief of ALM’s China Law & Practice publication. Johnson joins ALM after serving as Commercial Product Manager, Legal Research Solutions at LexisNexis Hong Kong.

Johnson will be responsible for driving China Law & Practice’s growth strategy and oversee the production of the print magazine, as well as develop and manage the online and digital transformation of the publication’s content and product strategy. In her role, Johnson will collaborate across ALM’s divisions to provide business insights and legal developments in regards to the China legal market.

Johnson joins ALM not only as the editorial lead of China Law & Practice but as a key member of the company’s Global Newsroom, which includes journalists throughout the United States, London and Hong Kong.

Johnson comes to ALM after more than 10 years with LexisNexis Hong Kong, where she served in various roles, including Commercial Product Manager, Product Development Manager and Managing Editor for all of Hong Kong’s premier and authoritative legal content. Johnson was instrumental in driving the print focused business into the online and digital solutions era that legal research has now become, significantly contributing to revenue and subscription growth. Additionally, she was the Legal Editor for Halsbury’s Laws of Hong Kong. Johnson graduated from the University of London with an LLB.
