ALM Intelligence Identifies Best Pricing Consultants
2018 Vanguard Buyer Ratings Guide Rates Global Providers and Specialists
New York, NY – January 24, 2019 – ALM Intelligence – Consulting division, previously known as Kennedy Consulting, has released its 2018 ratings of pricing consulting providers. Seven firms were identified as leaders in the consulting industry: A.T. Kearney, Bain & Company, BCG, Deloitte, McKinsey & Company, Revenue Analytics, and Simon-Kucher.
“Pricing continues to attract strong and increasingly senior level client attention,” said Nathan Simon, Senior Research Director at ALM Intelligence. “But clients’ ambitions for pricing are broadening to take in their full commercial systems. This requires correspondingly broader consulting capabilities and a service delivery model and toolset tuned for executing changes that deliver in the short-term while building lasting capabilities.”
Providers that attained challenger status include: Blue Ridge Partners, EY, Hinterhuber & Partners, Pricing Solutions, and PwC. Other firms that were rated include: Accenture, AlixPartners, Capgemini, dunnhumby, IBM, IRI, Kantar Consulting, KPMG, L.E.K. Consulting, Marakon, Oliver Wyman, Open Options, PA Consulting, and Roland Berger.
ALM’s Vanguard research series assesses firms in terms of their relative ability to create impact for their clients. In addition to its overall rating assessments of consulting providers’ depth and breadth of capabilities and best-in-class provider designations, this series includes detailed capability evaluations for each covered provider as well as a qualitative analysis of their consulting organization, approach, and service delivery model.
