“The marketplace is cluttered with events touting the latest and greatest strategies, technologies and solutions for litigation management,” said Anthony Paonita, editor in chief of ALM’s Corporate Counsel and one of the speakers at the Litigation Summit and Exposition. “This unique event will cut through that noise and bring together the need-to-know information for in-house counsel and their litigation firms to effectively navigate the litigation maze today. We’ll do so by offering attendees an opportunity to understand how to develop successful commercial litigation management strategies from business, legal, regulatory and technology perspectives.”
Session topics to be covered at the event include:
• State Attorneys General: Their Powers and Priorities
• Hail to the Chiefs: Discussions the Chief Legal Officer and Chief Information Officer Should be Having
• Aggregate Litigation: Don’t Let Your End Game Blow Up
• International Dispute Resolution: Finding the Right Mechanism for Your Dispute
• Trial Technology and Forensics: It’s Not What it Used to Be
• Ethics and the Business of Litigation
Many of the sessions are eligible for CLE credit.
In addition to the educational sessions, the event will also feature an exposition hall that will provide attendees with a hands-on look at the latest technology developed specifically for litigation support and management. Attendees are also invited to the opening cocktail reception, where they will be free to network with other legal professionals who focus on litigation, including general counsel, chief information officers, litigation support managers and law firm professionals.
