Pennsylvania’s Leading Legal Publication Debuts Expanded Print/Online Reporting and Analysis across the State

NEW YORK (March 2, 2010)The Legal Intelligencer, the nation’s oldest daily legal newspaper, today published its first expanded issue, following its merger with the Pennsylvania Law Weekly. The Legal Intelligencer now features a pullout center-section edition of the Pennsylvania Law Weekly each Tuesday. The redesigned combined publication Web site is also available today at www.thelegalintelligencer.com.

Stories in the first merged March 2 issue of the publication include:

•   An analysis of how the use of concurring opinions on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court has shown the lack of a unified front among the justices and opened the door to larger arguments.

    •    An in-depth report on the biggest cost concerns for mid-sized and small law firms.

    •    A feature on how Pittsburgh law firms weathered 2009 and what they are focusing on in 2010 to get through a challenging year.

    •    More hard-hitting investigative reporting on the Luzerne County judicial scandal.
