<p>ALM, the nation’s leading provider of legal news and information is seeking a sales representative for our Smart Litigator division. This is an excellent entry level opportunity for a detail oriented, energetic, and bright individual to work full time as a Sales Lead Generator to support our Smart Litigator sales team.  This is a temporary 3 month position that has the potential to go full time.</p>
<p>The Sales Lead Generator will report directly to the Director of sales, while supporting the sales team on a daily basis. Administrative functions will include setting up accounts for sales reps, completing order forms, checking leads, sending information to prospects, following up on research related questions and printing reports for activity tracking and follow up. Phone responsibilities will involve scheduling training events for sales team and lead generation.</p>
<p>The ideal candidate will possess the ability to switch between working excel and data base programs to calling customers in the course of a normal day.</p>
<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;"> Responsibilities include</span></strong>:</p>
<ul>
<li>Cold Calling Prospects to start evaluation trials</li>

<p>This position will be a hybrid of outbound cold call prospecting and inbound prospect responses generated through collaborative efforts with marketing. The position will require extensive product knowledge and industry awareness, the ability to communicate with single end user decision makers as well medium and large organizations where the decision process may require many touch points.</p>

<p>We are seeking a detail oriented, energetic, and bright individual to serve as an Ad Traffic Associate for our Ad Fulfillment group to support our online ad sales team.</p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Process Insertion Orders and reconcile billing issues</li>
<li>Manage the scheduling of online advertising campaigns, provide inventory availability numbers and reserve advertising plans</li>
<li>Prepare and monitor daily and monthly inventory reports and campaign performance reports</li>
<li>Schedule advertising placements for email newsletters and web advertising campaigns</li>
<li>Provide Quality Assurance for existing advertising campaigns</li>
<li>Prepare over/under delivery reports weekly for Sales teams campaigns</li>
<li>Client service and account management duties where applicable</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor&#8217;s Degree or equivalent work experience</li>
<li>A solid understanding of online advertising and marketing</li>
<li>Ability to multi task in a fast-paced environment; able to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and in a team setting</li>
<li>Strong communication skills and customer service skills</li>
<li>Strong organizational and analytic skills</li>
<li>Proficiency with basic office applications such as Word and Excel (including pivot tables)</li>
<li>Experience using one or more Internet ad serving systems a plus (i.e. DFP, OAS, etc)</li>
<li>Experience with HTML, JavaScript, Flash and rich media</li>
</ul>

<p>The New York Law Journal is looking for a Business Development Manager to prospect, build relationships and sell integrated media programs to legal endemic and B2B advertisers in the New York market.</p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Prospect and develop new business with New York based advertising agencies and business to business advertisers; service and renew existing accounts</li>
<li>Work with technology companies and legal services providers on their marketing and advertising initiatives</li>
<li>Maintaining a database of contacts</li>
<li>Develop  new product offerings through collaboration with managers/customers</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications: </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree required</li>
<li>2+ years of sales experience is required; advertising, events or related media sales experience a plus</li>
<li>Top-notch strategic and tactical selling talent</li>
<li>Effective written, verbal and presentation skills essential</li>
<li>Organizational  skills a must</li>
<li>Ability to multitask is important</li>
<li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and web-based CRM solutions</li>

ALM is looking for a Designer who will be responsible for the development of digital and print promotional collateral and innovative sales and marketing solutions that support the ALM brand and the portfolio of legal, real estate and event products and services. The Designer works with Brand Management team members to ensure timely delivery of marketing collateral to internal clients. The right candidate must possess energy, a passion for the work and a desire to deliver innovative successful solutions for internal and external clients. The candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with the ability to multi-task and provide a high-level of customer service.</p>
<p>Requirements:</p>
<ul>
<li>Experience of 2-5 years as a designer in an agency or in-house organization.</li>
<li>Expert knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash, MAC OSX and creating PDFs is required.</li>
<li>HTML/CSS a must.</li>
<li>Knowledge of ActionScript 3 and email best practices is a plus.</li>
<li>Experience in developing creative digital marketing solutions.</li>
<li>Organizational and project management skills required.</li>
<li>Must execute ideas both in print and online in the form of print ads and print collateral as well as web ads, landing pages and e-blasts.</li>
<li>Ability to handle multiple projects at once is a must.</li>
<li>Must work well in a collaborative creative environment with other experienced, junior and senior level designers.</li>
</ul>
