ALM Events COVID Safety

ALM is taking steps to promote a safe environment for when we can see each other again.

ALM is continuously and closely monitoring the global COVID-19 outbreak and all updates coming from regional health organizations, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) as it pertains to person-to-person interactions.

The health and safety of our exhibitors, sponsors, speakers, attendees and staff is our top priority. We are working closely with our partners at each venue, and taking proactive measures that look at immediate and long-term arrangements to incorporate into our planning.

1. ALM will follow both federal and local government guidelines, including:

Increased Cleanliness

Crowd Control

No Handshake Policy
Working with all venues on hygiene & sanitation standards, including handwashing and/or sanitizing facilities readily available and clearly marked. We will ensure proper distancing between attendees during sessions and any networking opportunities, as well as managing flow between rooms. We will be adopting a ‘no handshake’ policy for all attendees. This will be advertised and signage will be posted to avoid embarrassment.

No Buffet-Style Food Service

Contactless Registration

Use of PPE Encouraged
We will be refraining from providing any buffet-style of food service. Whenever possible, we will be providing contactless registration, with self-serve kiosks for check-in. We will encourage all attendees and staff to use PPE (including face coverings, gloves, etc), which will be required where mandated by the jurisdiction.

2. ALM will be providing additional extended participation options, including:

Virtual Participation Options

Extended Access

Video Engagement
Many of our events will have an option to register to participate in the event virtually. Details will be included on each event website. Attendees will have extended access of at least 1 month to the event content via on-demand sessions (available only for events being provided on the virtual platform.) Attendees participating in our virtual and in-person events will have the opportunity to engage via video, either as live video chat or video submissions.

3. What else will ALM be doing to provide a safe event environment?

Rapid Response Plans

Communication Plans
Each event will have a rapid response plan that will be clearly communicated and posted for all attendees, speakers and sponsors/exhibitors. We will ensure specific communication plans for each event that will relay important information including updated protocols or any site specific initiatives.
