The National Law Journal Announces Results from 2nd Annual “Best of The National Law Journal” Readers Rankings
WASHINGTON, D.C. – March 25, 2013 – ALM’s The National Law Journal today announced “The Best of The National Law Journal,” the second annual reader’s choice rankings of the nation’s top legal vendors and law schools.
Approximately 5,000 readers took the survey this year, nearly half of whom are practicing attorneys, to vote in 70 different categories for the best providers of services, products or education to U.S. law firms. For each category, the winners were ranked by pure popularity among peers – the choice with the most votes won.
The results were compiled by the sales and marketing staff of The National Law Journal. The editorial staff of the newspaper was not involved in the contest.
“This was a very popular special issue last year and we had even broader participation this year as our readers were eager to tell us which vendors and law schools are the best at what they do,” said Kenneth Gary, publisher of The National Law Journal & Legal Times.
The companies that were the most frequently named by readers in 2013 were the following:
- FTI -- Seven 1st place wins and five 2nd place finishes
- Thomson Reuters -- Seven 1st place wins, three 2nd places, and four 3rd place finishes
- LexisNexis -- Five 1st place wins, five 2nd places, and one 3rd place finish
